PRAYING OVER AREAS OF INFLUENCE: MEDIA, ARTS, AND ENTERTAINMENT The Media, Arts, and Entertainment are industries of influence. They are often left to the world to do with what they want. Yet what they come out with fills the hearts of so many people, and much of what is produced is very ungodly. Let us take a stand in prayer that Godly men and women would come to prominent and influential roles. That those already in influential roles would turn their lives over to God. Let's pray for a shift in the content that is coming out. Let's pray for Godly content and for morals to be honored. For what is right to be honored and promoted. For sin to stop being promoted is okay. Let's pray for actors to refuse to do immoral things. Let's pray that the truth will begin to ring out through the media. May we walk in unity instead of division. May hatred and divisiveness melt away from every side, and may Your presence mark us and the media. Here are some ways that we can pray: * Pray For Godly content to come up and succeed. (Matt. 5:14-16) * Pray Godly people would rise up in positions of influence * Pray for those who are in places of influence to be drawn to the Lord and have encounters with God. (Acts 26:18) * Pray for the media to stop promoting sin. (Rom. 14:22) * Praying for the truth to be clear and Satan’s lies to be apparent. (2 Cor. 4:4) * Pray for unity to be promoted instead of division. (Psalm 133:1)
