PRAYING FOR THE BROKEN AND HURTING
Sometimes, in life, there are groups of people that can get forgotten. Well, they are forgotten by people, but God doesn't forget them. The word says He wants to be a Father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5). He wants to put the homeless into homes and prisoners into prosperity. (Psalm 68:5-6) Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted (Luke 4:18). God has a heart for the broken. God says that as we do to them, we have done to Him. Let's pray for those in prison, homeless, widows, orphans, foster care, sex trafficked, addicted, broken-hearted, and poor. Here are some ways to pray:
- Pick one or two areas: one specific prison, homeless, widows, orphans, foster care, sex trafficked, addicted, broken-hearted, and poor.
- Pray for the love of God to meet them where they are.
- Pray for God to bind up their hearts and minister His peace to them
- Pray for healing and revival in places of brokenness, in jails, in schools, and in nursing homes.
- Pray for the broken to be healed and restored
- Pray for Godly men and women to reach out to them and help them.
- Pray for God’s people to see others through God’s eyes and love.
