Elevate GriefSample

Grief is a somewhat weird feeling that all of us here on Earth will experience. At some point, we will all know what it feels like to lose a loved one, a friend, or maybe the loss of a family pet that is dear to your heart. Regardless of what type of loss you experience, it hurts. It leaves a hole within us. There is this void of emptiness that we want filled.
The beautiful thing about God is that, when we face these feelings, God gives us somewhere to turn to find truth to fill this void in us. Jesus says that those who are in a season of grief are actually blessed by God. We may ask ourselves why are they blessed. Aren’t they experiencing heartache right now? Jesus can say they’re blessed because of the next thing He says: “for they will be comforted.” Jesus is the one who does the comforting. He is the one who is right beside you, and that is a blessing.
If you are in a season of grief or heartache today, remember that Jesus is right beside you to bring you comfort. You can go to Jesus with your grief because He is big enough to handle it.
