Elevate GriefSample

Think about the last time something didn’t go the way you hoped it would. Maybe it was a tough diagnosis you expected to be healed, or a big test you thought you would pass, or a friendship you anticipated to reconcile. It can be discouraging when we hope for good things that don’t go the way we want. Honestly, it can even lead us to get angry with God.
In moments like that, it’s important to remember that there is so much joy in knowing God is our one and only strength. God is the only one able to sustain us! So, when everything around you seems shaky, when you’re sad, or when things aren’t going like you hoped, don’t let your anger keep you from God. Instead, know that God always has and always will provide everything you need.
Today, go for a walk. Think of all the ways God has sustained you and strengthened you, even in the middle of hardship. Spend some time praising God for who God is and what God has done!
