Advent: Exploring Hope, Peace, Love, and JoySample

Pray
Dear Lord, You could’ve chosen to leave humanity on its own, but Your love was so full, so all-consuming, that You sent Your Son into the world to be with us, to walk beside the people in Jesus’ time—and live in the hearts of Your followers today. I think about how amazing it is that Jesus came to be God with us. I am filled with gratitude today, God. Help me not to lose sight of how close Jesus is to me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
