Advent: Exploring Hope, Peace, Love, and JoySample

Pray
Dear Lord, You gave everything for me, and the depth of that sacrifice is one I will never comprehend. My human nature makes it difficult for me to even give up the smallest things for other people, and following Your perfect example of love and sacrifice is a path often paved with difficulty. God, Your gift of Jesus goes far above any other gift I have ever received—or will receive—and I want to rest in that peace today. Help it to inspire me to give up my own desires for others—and ultimately, for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
