The Table, a Series on CommunitySample

In this passage, Paul is not talking about the church as a building; he's talking about all Christians everywhere on earth who make up what you might call the "universal" church. The universal church is made up of Christians around the world! The "universal" church is then supposed to meet in a community setting regularly, and when they do you have the "local" church.
If we meet together but don't act like the body of Christ, are we wasting our time? Why or why not?

About this Plan

Thanksgiving is a season of unity, community, and fellowship. We center around the table — the place where we gather to enjoy each other. We come to God’s table as a community of believers, bringing our authentic selves to receive all God has for us. This series explores what we can bring to the table and what God has in store for us when we do!
