Singing God's Word With the Elliott'sSample

When was the last time you encouraged someone to be courageous?
I (Caden) was on the soccer field when I needed encouragement after I missed a goal.
We tend to offer "courage" to others when we notice they feel afraid or worried. It's likely that God knew Joshua would feel scared along his upcoming journey.
If you need a reminder that it’s okay to feel weak, this verse is for you. Feeling tired or discouraged does not disqualify you from ministry or from being eligible to receive love from Your Father.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord Your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (Hobby Lobby version)
Family Tip:
When you sing the word “strong," make your best superhero pose.
Reflection Questions:
Think of a time when you felt afraid or discouraged. Did you remember to pray and invite God into your situation?
When might you need to remember this verse (in the middle of a disagreement, during a difficult test, etc.)?
