I Just Want to Hear You In the world we live in trusting God’s word has become more difficult now than ever. Life’s problems and circumstances have become so hard to handle. Although this is the case, I still choose to promote that believing God’s word is important. In Matthew 8 the Centurion soldier request that Jesus comes to heal his slave but later in the chapter he realizes that Jesus can speak from where He is and his slave would be healed. He believed in the power of God’s word to the point that Jesus was amazed by his faith. This song is simply saying “You don’t have to come from heaven just to save me, You don’t have to send Your angels to protect me, by the power of Your word You can amaze me, You can speak from where You are and I’ll be healed, saved, free.” Most of us are looking for a sign or something mystical to help us with our problems: when the solution can come from hearing from God. No matter how far you think God is from you and your circumstances He can speak and instantly your life can change. I pray that we all get to the place where nothing else matters and we are able to look to God and say “I Just Want to Hear You”.
