Resurrection!Sample

Like all the other accounts, it is women who are the first witnesses to the empty tomb. When we take ourselves back to their situation, we can understand why they are so afraid in Mark’s account. Maybe their testimony would not be believed, or they would be blamed for the body going missing. Jesus’ resurrection is amazing news but it might also be costly to live by it as a reality. This is Mark’s invitation to us: are we willing to truly believe and share?
