Resurrection!Sample

The last couple of days we have been thinking about doubts, they seem to be part of the walk of faith. The Lord has given us practices that help us stay oriented on the resurrection despite doubts. Things like prayer, Bible reading, and community. In the story of the Emmaus road, it’s startling that it is during Communion that two disciples’ eyes are opened to Jesus (vv 30-31). There is something that happens in the mystery of The Lord’s Supper that enables us to glimpse something of the reality of new creation, new life birthed through suffering.
