Think about the best gift you have ever received. How did you feel when you received it? Chances are you were probably overwhelmed with excitement. Now, think about the gift of salvation that God gave you through Jesus. How much more exciting is a gift like that—a gift that changes your life forever! If you’ve accepted this gift, thank God for it. And if you haven’t yet decided to follow Jesus with your life, take time to talk to your small group leader about what this gift of salvation might mean for you.
And, as you close out your Easter season, spend time in prayer, thanking God for the gift of Jesus in your life.
