How many superhero movies have you seen? Though they’re good, they’re often pretty easy to predict. There’s a good guy and a bad guy. The bad guy causes trouble, and, in the end, the good guy—the hero—comes to save the day. If that story sounds familiar, it isn’t because it’s the plot of just about every superhero movie; it’s also the story of our lives! We all need to be rescued in some way. And God is that hero who comes to save us. God’s rescue is the ultimate salvation for us all!
Write this verse down somewhere you can see it often this week. Every time you notice it, remember that God is the hero who saved you from so much in this life.
