Sometimes rules are hard to follow. As a middle schooler, it often feels as if rules are everywhere! The rules of your parents, the rules at school, the rules of your small group, the rules on your team—the rules to follow feel endless. But have you ever thought about why those rules exist? For the most part, they’re there to make your life better! In the same way, Scripture reminds us that our lives will be better when we follow God’s instructions. God’s ways are better than ours, and when we trust and follow them, we can be sure that we’re walking toward what’s best in life.
Memorize this verse this week as a reminder of why you follow God’s instructions for your life.
