God Hears Prayer Daniel was a man of prayer. He knew who his God was. He had read about the God of Israel who did mighty things; that is why Daniel was so confident about God being there for him. Daniel and his friends always did the impossible because they knew God would deliver them. Daniel spent his time in his room, praying three times a day, which is why no task was too difficult for him. He was confident before kings because he daily communicated with God. God saved Daniel’s friends in the fiery furnace and God saved Daniel in the lion’s den too. What an awesome God we serve who always delivers us from dangerous situations when we call on Him! Praying is the most important aspect of a Christian’s life. To pray without ceasing means to pray continually. It doesn’t mean that the Lord is asking us to drop everything and pray 24 hours a day. It means pray wherever we are, whenever the situation demands. God is omnipresent; He hears us whenever we call on Him. There have been many times when I have gone before God praying for solutions to my problems and I have seen my prayers answered. Just as a father won’t give a stone to his child when he asks for bread, so our Father in heaven will not withhold anything from us when we pray. Pray and believe, do not doubt. Faith can move mountains and prayer will indeed turn things around. Prayer Lord, You know what I am going through. I bring my need (state your need/ problem) before You. I know only You can get me through this. I believe and wait on You to answer my prayer. Amen.
