Jesus our Redeemer God gives every believer the assurance ‘I have redeemed you!’ That includes the freedom from the bondage of sin and guilt, and deliverance from the judgment to come. Jesus left heaven and came to earth to redeem us from our sin. Satan no longer has power over God’s children. Jesus gave His very life to redeem us from hell and purchased us by His blood to live with Him for eternity. As believers, we need not seek after short-lived worldly pleasures. Our redemption is guaranteed for eternity. No one, who has confessed his or her sins before God and believed in the work of redemption accomplished by Jesus Christ on the cross, need have any fear of the future. Because their relationship with God has been put in order, God’s promises give believers an inner peace of the things of the future. We belong to God and when He says, "You are mine” (Isaiah 43:1) it means we are His treasure. Not because we are good by ourselves, but because His Son gave His life for us. Jesus Christ paid a high price for us to enjoy a relationship with God. Therefore, God keeps and protects us daily. He treasures us and will bring us to our heavenly home safely and securely. For thirty years our ancestral property, in which we were shareholders, was in dispute. As I called upon Jesus my Redeemer, things worked out in our favor. We got our share the same year and we could purchase our own house. Jesus redeemed our property for us. Have you lost property, health, finance or anything else? Today is the day to ask God to redeem your life and whatever you have lost. Prayer Thank You God, for You are my Redeemer and You will redeem what I have lost. Amen.
