The Gospels - ManSample

When Jesus first called some of the disciples, He came to where they were working at their fishing boats, as they were fishermen. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” These fishermen dropped what they were doing and simply trusted Him. While they were together Jesus spent His time showing them how to reach and help others, how to live and treat each other.
Jesus says the same to us today, “Follow me”. When we choose to follow Jesus, we can learn about how to live by watching His example. We too, just like the disciples, can be fishers of people! This doesn’t mean we take a fishing net and try to catch some people while they’re swimming at the beach. It means that we can share the good news of Jesus, that He died and rose again to save each one of us. Gathering people to join us and follow Jesus too!
