Bro Code Devotional: Part 1 of 3Sample

Lord Father,
I pray for dads struggling over relationships with their children. You made parents to be Your image bearer. The young ones were meant to grow to know You by watching and learning from their parents.
It seems simple, but because of man’s separation from You through sin, this relationship is rarely simple. Our children’s rejection is like a knife to our hearts, covering dads with darkness. We dads carry so much guilt from strained and lost relationships that we often suffer the regrets for having condemned our kids to the potential cycle of generational sin we have experienced because of strained relationships with our dads.
Lord, I pray our brothers do not beat themselves up over their mistakes in parenting. I thank You for forgiving and restoring us so that we may continue to be present and active in their lives.
Amen
