Bro Code Devotional: Part 1 of 3Sample

Dear Lord,
I pray that You show our brothers how to deal with the anger that rages in their hearts. It is not a sin to be angry, but it is a sin to sin for the sake of anger. Anger is a human emotion that You blessed us with.
I pray that brothers do not allow it to control them or destroy them. If we have sinned against someone, please ask for forgiveness. If someone has sinned against you and you are angry, forgive them.
Allow brothers to understand that forgiveness isn't about accepting the other's actions; it's about freeing themselves from the anger caused by the offense. Paul also reminds us in Ephesians that although we get angry, we are not to let the sun go down while still mad.
Amen
