[IMAGE CONTENT] We’ve been talking quite a bit about the character qualities that our Lightglider leaders display in their lives! We can look up to them and imitate the unique ways they lead, serve, and seek out God’s wisdom! Now you get to take a look at YOURSELF! One of the biggest character qualities you can grow in is faithfulness. The word “faithful” means to be true to one’s word and promises. God is the greatest example of faithfulness. He has been, and will always be, fully faithful to His promises to us that we read in the Bible. Because He is faithful, you, too, are called to be faithful. When you tell someone you will do something, follow through on that. Because you were created with unique gifts, you can be faithful to exercise those gifts in ways that share God’s love. As you continue to be faithful, God’s character will be on display through you! Can you think of examples of faithfulness? Here are just a few to get you started: * Doing what our parents ask of us * Taking our studies seriously * Using our words to encourage others * Taking time to pray to the One who is faithful to us When we are faithful, we are shining! Here are some things to think about today: * Why is faithfulness important? * How can you be more faithful, wise, and generous with what you have? * Who do you know that is faithful? * What dreams do you have for the future? * How are you a faithful person? * How has God been faithful to you?
