It is helpful to have people to look up to who teach us what it looks like to be a unique image-bearer of God. Inside the Lightgliders virtual world of Christian faith, games, and community, you will meet seven leaders who serve as role models and help us learn how we were made to shine! [IMAGE CONTENT] What is a role model, you ask? Great question! A role model is someone you can look up to! They serve as examples of how to live, treat people, and grow in a relationship with God. The seven leaders of Lightglider Academy have character qualities that you can learn from to help you understand how YOU were uniquely made to shine! And as you learn about the leaders of Lightglider Academy, you’ll learn about the heroes of the Bible that they look to as examples. Who are some of your role models? It could be a parent, an older sibling, a teacher, a coach, or perhaps a leader in your church. Find someone to look up to, watch how they live their lives, and ask them many questions. And remember to listen to their answers! As the leaders of Lightglider Academy introduce themselves to you over the next few days, and we learn more about the heroes of the Bible, think about how you were made to shine in the world around you! Here are some things to do and think about today: * Name two people who have taught you about God. What did you learn from them? * Who do you look up to? * Who looks up to you? * Who shows you how to walk with God? * How can you be a role model for others?
