Lean on the LordSample

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
The Bible is the Word of God, not merely an antique collection of scrolls and letters; it is inspired by the Holy Spirit. It has instructed people about God’s will for countless years and continues to give us the tools we need to live according to His will. When we devote ourselves to reading and studying the Bible daily, we will experience first-hand that God’s Word is alive.
One day, I was wrestling with something and felt so lonely. As I went to spend time in the Word, I opened my Bible and read: ‘‘do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.’’ (Isaiah 41:10). In that moment, I knew for sure-my God knows me! He knows exactly what I need!
God speaks through His Word every day and minute, but to hear Him, you must first turn your heart and mind toward Him. He created you. He speaks to you! Regularly reading Scripture has everything to do with having a relationship with the God of creation, the Great I AM, the Alpha and the Omega, the One who died for you. God loves you! He knows your every thought. He is molding and equipping you to perform what He has prepared for you.
What a wonderful gift He gave us to have a relationship with Himself, the Creator of all things, through His Son Jesus Christ, our Savior.
