Ministering grace and love: Reflect

Holy Spirit, help me to be so conscious of your lavish love that I become a channel of that love to others.

Joyous generosity and lavishness characterise God’s grace to us. We minister grace and love from the overflow of all we have received. This could be through small acts done unselfconsciously to serve others – making a coffee for a colleague or giving up our seat on a crowded bus. When we overflow with God’s love, we want and seek the best for someone else. Biblical love is not an emotion – it is about our choices and actions.
