Bible Explorer for the Young (2 Corinthians)

DAY 5 OF 7

## Give Generously 2 Corinthians 9:11 God will make you rich in every way so that you can always give freely. And your giving through us will cause many to give thanks to God. There is a quote: “That's what I consider true generosity: You give your all, and yet you always feel as if it costs you nothing”. Paul said, "God loves a cheerful giver." While encouraging the believers in Corinth to give generously, Paul didn't want them to give beyond their means or to give reluctantly. When we give generously, God pours His abundant blessing upon us. God promises us sufficiency in everything as He will supply all of our needs, provide more for us to give, and increase our righteousness. In fact, we will be enriched in everything for our generosity. When we give, it does not make us poor. When we give generously, others will see the unconditional love of God. As a result, they will feel blessed, be thankful to God, and be inspired to do the same thing to others as well. God will be glorified through our act of generosity, and we become a living testimony about God’s blessing. It is not hard to give generously because God gives His blessing to us generously too. Prayer Dear God, I’m thankful for all the blessings You have given to me. Let me become Your vessel to bless others. Amen.
