My Assignment: Praying for My Husband.Sample

Day 1: My husband will count on Jesus as his friend
Scripture: John 15:13-15 (AMP) No one has greater love [nor stronger commitment] than to lay down his own life for his friends. You are my friends if you keep on doing what I command you. I do not call you servants any longer, for the servant does not know what his master is doing, but I have called you [My] friends because I have revealed to you everything I have heard from My Father.
My Prayer: Father, I want to thank you for all the ways you love my husband, including as your friend. I pray that my husband will receive the gift of your friendship today and every day and grow in experiencing all that your friendship means. I pray that he will share his heart with you, Father, and hear yours. I pray that the scripture will come alive to him, and he will agree to do all that you command as a gesture of loyalty to you, his first and best friend. Father, you are the faithful one that he can always count on; in Jesus' name AMEN.
