## The Mind Of Christ The mind of Christ knows that with God all things are possible. The mind of Christ knows that beauty comes from ashes. Consider David and Goliath. When the giant Philistine named Goliath came up against the Israelites, the Israelite soldiers all thought he was so big they could never kill him. David looked at the same giant and thought, “He’s so big, I can’t miss him!” Same problem, different mindset. You can have the mind of Christ simply by filling your thoughts with what God says about you. One of the most powerful verses in the Word of God comes from the prophet Isaiah: > “The Spirit of the LORD God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” (Isaiah 61:1–3, NKJV) There is power in these words, power that is yours when you sear these verses into your mind. Jesus came so that you would be healthy and whole. Jesus came to break the chains that bind you. Comfort is yours. Joy is yours. Beauty is made out of the ashes of your pain and your past. Praise covers your depression. Victory is yours. Peace that passes understanding is yours. The oil of joy has been brought to your marriage. Your family will be reunited. Your finances will be restored. Everything that is broken will heal. You are royalty. You are righteous. God is glorified through your life. No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. You are a divine original. No one on the earth is quite like you. There are 7.8 billion people on the earth and not one of them has the same fingerprints or the exact same DNA as you. God has all kinds of measures in place to keep you on the straight and narrow, and to show you how special you are. He knows the structure of your DNA, so don’t offend Him by trying to be a cheap copy of somebody else. Be who you are. Be glad to be who you are. Because who you are is a child of God, created on purpose for a purpose, by your Father in heaven. What is on God’s mind? YOU! You are on the very mind of Christ. Think about that!
