Guardians Of Ancora Family Bible Plan

DAY 6 OF 7

## JESUS FEEDS A CROWD In this Bible story, news about Jesus has spread far and wide. Now, he can’t have any time to himself, even when walking in the hills. People follow him everywhere – and Jesus always makes the time to talk to them and make the ill people well. Once again, Jesus does the impossible. He feeds that vast crowd with a little boy’s packed lunch. He could have fed everyone without five bread rolls and a couple of fish but, very graciously, he chooses to use what the child has offered to him. How very typical of Jesus! If you had heard the story before, have you discovered anything new about it? If the story was new to you, what is the one big thought you are thinking about it now? ### TALKABOUT Can you find the ‘God moments’ in the story – the moments when you can see God in action? Perhaps when Jesus blesses the bread and fish? When Jesus’ followers keep giving out more and more food? When everyone has had enough to eat? What would it have been like to be fed in that amazing way? [IMAGE CONTENT] What would happen if you shared a loaf of bread with everyone in your neighbourhood? Would there be enough to go round? Surely that’s impossible? Yet that’s what Jesus did! Can you think of other impossible things he did? What was it about Jesus that meant he could turn ‘impossibles’ into ‘possibles’? ### TALK WITH GOD TOGETHER Next time you have a meal together, pause before you start eating and remember that Jesus could turn ‘impossibles’ into ‘possibles’. Say one word or phrase each, loudly, to thank God for Jesus. If you have several devices, play the game at the same time. Or watch each other play, in turn. When you take this Quest, you’ll discover that something is going on in the hills above Lake Galilee. Crowds of people are heading out of town and up the slopes of the nearby hills. Fabula thinks that, if you find Jesus, you’ll discover what’s going on! So, up buildings and down washing lines you must go! What is your favourite part of the story? Why do you like that part so much?
