## JESUS AND THE FISHERMEN In this Bible story, Jesus starts his work in the northern area of Galilee, telling people about God and making sick people well. He’s amazing! News about him spreads and many come to hear him. [IMAGE CONTENT] Think about what Jesus is like – how he notices what’s going on, has time for people – and how he drops a miracle into an everyday situation. And that’s not all! He adds an invitation: Who will choose to follow him? [IMAGE CONTENT] If you had heard the story before, have you discovered anything new about it today? If the story was new to you, what is the one big thought you are thinking about it now? ### TALKABOUT Can you find the ‘God moments’ in the story – when you can see God in action? Perhaps when the nets filled with fish? When Jesus invited the fishermen to follow him? What would it have been like to be there, at that moment? What does being a friend of Jesus mean to you?
