THE HOUR OF CRISIS Several years ago, a great statesman stood before people frightened by war and said, "This is England's finest hour." This statement spurred the war-weary people to new vigor and was a major turning point in the Second World War. This was a bold act that could have cost him his position and life. However, he no longer wanted the applause of men but sought only the approval of God.
