## May 29—Filled Together for Mission! ### Read Acts 2:1-4 ### Reflect It is notable that the Holy Spirit came to the followers of Jesus who had obeyed his command to wait in Jerusalem for the promise of the Father (see Acts 1:4). As they remained together in prayer, they were all filled. They all went out into the street and began to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ! As they worked together, thousands of people put their faith in Jesus! The Holy Spirit is the gift of God to each of us as we wait on him. Let us look forward to what God chooses to do in us! ### Engage Read today’s Scripture passage. Say or write it out in your own words, considering the following questions: · What does it say about God? · What does it say about us? · Is there a promise to trust? · Is there a command to obey? · How will I apply this Scripture to my life? · Who will I show that I care by sharing this truth? ### Memorize Now read this week’s memory verse, Acts 2:42.
