A Step Of FaithSample

Faith In Jesus, Hope For The World Throughout our passage in Mark we have seen the power and love of Jesus on display. We have also seen how Jairus and the woman who had the bleeding problem took a step of faith towards Jesus, and how they both received miracles in their lives. Not too long after these miracles took place, Jesus proved just how big God’s power and love is for all people by dying on a cross for our sin and rising again from the dead. The Bible says in John 3:16-17, For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him. Each of us have an opportunity to take a step of faith towards Jesus. When Jesus died on the cross and rose again three days later, He made a way for every one of us to have a relationship with God, now and forever. If we take a step of faith and believe in Jesus, He will do the biggest miracle of all by forgiving all our sin and giving us eternal life with him. Romans 10:9-10 says, If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. For Christians, life is not just about being able to go to heaven someday. The Christian life is an exciting adventure that is lived in relationship with God moment by moment. Being a Christian is about getting to know God more, becoming more like Jesus, sharing the good news about Jesus with others and making earth look more like heaven. There is always another step of faith we can take towards Jesus, and if we do, we can discover more of the power and love that Jesus has for us and for the world he loves. Questions 1.
