You Are Free. ‬ When you are in Christ — you are set free. The bondage and stronghold of sin no longer can hold your heart hostage. When you accept Jesus Christ, as your Lord and Savior, He becomes the Lord and ruler of your heart. When your heart surrenders to Christ, the chains of sin no longer have the power to rule over you. When Christ is your King, the entanglement of sin no longer has power or authority over you. When you are in Christ, His Power rests, rules, and abides within the borders of your heart. Through the Blood of Jesus you are completely set free. 1 Peter‬ ‭2:16‬ ‭NLT declares, “For you are free, yet you are God’s slaves, so don’t use your freedom as an excuse to do evil.” Now that you’re free in Christ, choose to pursue Him with all of your heart. Choose to let God order your steps. Let His Word guide your path. Surrender to His Way. Surrender to Christ. Let His Power lead and heal your heart. Let His Love fill every void, dark, and hardened place. Choose to tie yourself to His Way. Choose to live out the principles and precepts of God’s Word. 1 Peter‬ ‭2:16‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ declares, “[Live] as free people, [yet] without employing your freedom as a pretext for wickedness; but [live at all times] as servants of God.” Surrender to God. Let your heart and ways reflect His Word. Let your life reflect His Love and Character. Choose to be set free in Him. Let bitterness roll off of you forever. Let His Blood wash and soften your heart. Let His Blood lead your path. When you are in Him you’re set free. Christ forgives you. Now choose to walk in His freedom.
