LIVE // Do you ever think about what makes followers of Jesus different from other people? This verse says there should be something that sets us apart, other than just an understanding of who Jesus is. Paul says purity (leading a blameless life in how we treat others), understanding (wisdom in living rightly), patience, kindness, and sincere love (meaning real—not fake or forced) for one another should “prove” who we are. In other words, there is a lot that’s supposed to make us look different. Imagine what your school would look like if all followers of Jesus at your school took this seriously! They’d probably have a different reputation. Also? Your life would be better! Today, choose one thing from the verse and make it your goal to “prove” yourself wherever you go today.
