It may take a process before someone accepts Jesus. Have you ever set up an elaborate line of dominoes like in that video, only to knock them all down and watch how they fall? It’s so cool seeing how nudging just one domino can have a ripple effect of knocking the rest down. Telling people about Jesus can be kind of like that. It may take years before someone decides to follow Jesus, and that’s okay. Like we talked about yesterday, we can’t save people, because only God can do that. So, does that mean it’s not worth it to share the Good News about Jesus? Of course not! We’ve learned over the past few days that it is worth sharing our faith. We are called to carry the cure. God saves people, but He chooses to use us in the process. Isn’t that cool? God doesn’t need us. But He wants us to help spread the word about Jesus to the whole world. That’s a big mission and a huge responsibility. But we can all play a part in sharing who Jesus is and what He’s done for us. You have people in your life that you were specifically designed to share Jesus with. It could be your family, your friends, your neighbors, people you see at school, or anyone in your circle of influence. Remember, it doesn’t have to be weird. Just make it a natural part of conversation, and don’t be discouraged if they don’t say yes right away. It could take someone several years, several people, and several conversations before they decide to accept Jesus, but we can play a part in opening their hearts to the truth of who God is and how much He loves them. You can show them His love by how you live and how you serve them. And you can pray that God would open their eyes and their hearts to who He is. And, finally, remember this important truth: You don’t have to wait until you’re older to share your faith. You can do it anytime, anywhere! So, get ready to go out into all the world and share the Good News because our God is worth sharing!
