Doing Well If you’ve ever discipled or mentored another person, you know what it feels like to hear they have grown in ‘the way’ and have continued to mature. Their maturity encourages your own heart. The apostle John knew exactly what it felt like as he heard of the various house churches and believers prospering even in his absence. It’s the greatest joy imaginable. Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for those who have patiently nurtured me and my faith through the years. Bring people into my life that I can influence in the same way. May I be your faithful servant -sharing the Gospel, teaching, and living a life with integrity and love. I pray for your Spirit’s special anointing today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
