Week 1: Be a Man in Your Relationship with God
Samson, in the midst of his greatest life failure learns to sacrifice everything in order to do what is right. He defeats the Philistines, and redeems himself. Too often, after our greatest failures, we want to shrink back and hide – avoid confrontations and people. Real men own up to their failures and find redemption. This is where we find our true character. In the thick of our greatest messes, we are given a choice – retreat or repent and restore.
Practical Steps
- Pray this morning and ask God to give you the courage to repent and restore instead of retreat after failing.
