ALL ABOUT SHEEP
Jesus told a story about a shepherd. Read the start of it in today’s first Bible verses.
The shepherd knew his sheep well and noticed one was missing.
Jesus is like the shepherd in the story. He knows all about each one of us.
Read the second part of Jesus’ story. Then answer “yes” or “no” to the following:
● The shepherd found his lost sheep.
● The sheep walked home.
● The shepherd told his friends and neighbours.
● The shepherd was happy because his sheep got lost.
● The shepherd was happy because his sheep was found.
● Do you think the shepherd loved his sheep?
The shepherd wanted everyone to celebrate when he found his sheep. Jesus said that everyone in heaven is happy when someone is sorry for the wrong things they have done and wants to follow God.
Pray: “I am different from everyone else, Lord, but you know all about me, just like the shepherd knew his sheep. I am special to you. Thank you!”
