Even though God promises curses for disobedience, He also promises that when the people turn from their disobedience, He will restore them. That means that their punishment can never include complete destruction. Regardless of how much Israel fails, there is always hope. That also gives us insight into God’s character. He is always ready to forgive!
We all mess up sometimes. We all suffer consequences for our poor choices, but God never gives up on us. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel and that light is Jesus.
