I GIVE IT ALL
The definition of trust is the firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. In who or what do you place your trust? Is it your friendships? Your own knowledge? Your own strength or will? So often through Scripture, we see descriptors of God that help us understand His nature. Words like cornerstone, anchor, fortress, or rock. Words that mean He is strong and reliable. Words that mean He is worthy of our trust. His Word is true. His promise is that He will never leave us nor forsake us. We trust Him with our deepest fears, secrets, and shame. We give it all to Him because His heart is to heal and restore us.
