Day 8: Saturday Night “I know you thought you were alive But you was dreaming all this time Yeah So wake up wake up wake up” Have you ever noticed that you don’t know you were asleep until you wake up? When you trust Jesus, you realize that you’ve been asleep the whole time, but in him you are awake and alive. When you are awake, you are able to understand that the things of the world won’t give you the satisfaction you actually need. You’re able to see that the awards and spotlight don’t give off the same glow and that you can measure your success in Jesus, who died on the cross for you. So go out today knowing that you belong to the day and not the night, you are not asleep but alive in Christ. Prayer: God thank You for waking me up today. I pray You help me see things the way You see them and guide me in understanding I don’t need to measure success the way the world does.
