October 6 Introduction In today’s reading, Isaiah describes how God will treat those who sin and rebel against him but will save everyone who repents. The reading concludes with a vision of the future Jerusalem and everlasting peace. What will God do to those who rebel and sin against him: Reread verses 2-4 in chapter 2. What were your thoughts as you read these words? How do you envision what is described?  In what ways does your life demonstrate that you “walk in the paths [God] has chosen” (verse 2:3)?
