Addiction Rewritten: Addiction Takes, God Providesنموونە

When addiction shakes your trust, God rebuilds it.
Addiction has a way of distorting truth in ways we might not immediately recognize. It rarely begins with an obvious lie, often starting subtly through small compromises: false comforts, misplaced confidence, or pain buried beneath distraction. Over time, these quiet distortions multiply, and what once seemed clear becomes confusing. That’s when we start to question what’s real about ourselves, others, and even God.
Addiction clouds clarity, but God patiently untangles the lies that addiction whispers. He reminds you who you are: a child of God, not your past. God slowly breaks down the lies you have been led to believe so He can then build your trust in Him.
Prayer
Father, when my trust is shaken and truth feels far away, draw me back to You. Untangle the lies I’ve believed and remind me who I truly am in Your eyes. Rebuild what’s been broken and plant Your truth deep in my heart. I trust You to restore what I cannot fix on my own. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
