Addiction Rewritten: Addiction Takes, God Providesنموونە

When addiction pulls you towards death, God pulls you towards life.
Addiction doesn’t always look like death. It doesn’t look like a long road. Instead, addiction looks like a shortcut to relief, a quick fix for whatever problems you are facing. It looks like fun. But slowly, over time, addiction can pull you into an all-consuming darkness.
Jesus calls this out plainly in John 10. He says there’s a thief out there — one whose only goal is to steal, kill, and destroy. Addiction can steal your joy, kill your peace, and destroy the life you were meant to live. But that’s not where the story ends. God doesn't shame you for wandering. He doesn’t shame you for giving in to temptation. Instead, He welcomes you back, again and again, with open arms so that you can live a life of freedom and purpose.
Prayer
Jesus, I understand the weight of my sin. Thank you for showing me grace. Thank you for pulling me back from the brink of death to lead a life serving You. Thank you for breathing life back into me. Amen.
