Addiction Rewritten: Addiction Takes, God Providesنموونە

When addiction fuels fear, God floods your heart with courage.
As kids, we fear becoming adults. We fear who we will become. Will we measure up? Will we be okay? Will we be successful? Somewhere deep down, we wonder if we’ll turn out like the people who hurt us… or the version of ourselves we’re afraid to admit lives inside us. We often carry that fear into adulthood — afraid we’re not enough, afraid we’ll mess everything up, afraid it’s too late for us.
God, however, is not afraid of our weaknesses. He sees our struggles, and He knows our worries and doubts. And in our struggles, God gives us strength. He gives us the courage to become who He always knew we could be.
Prayer
God, sometimes I’m scared of who I’m becoming. But You see me, and You stay with me. Thank you for loving me in the middle of it all. Please give me the courage to keep going and to become the person You made me to be. Amen.
