Addiction Rewritten: Addiction Takes, God Providesنموونە

Though addiction makes it hard to see your worth, God never stops seeing your value.
In Jesus’ day, sparrows were seen as almost worthless. Yet, when Jesus was sending out His disciples, knowing they’d face rejection, persecution, and fear, He paused to remind them that not even one sparrow falls to the ground without God noticing.
If you’re in recovery, you’ve probably had moments when you’ve wondered if God could still love you after everything you’ve done — if you still have value when all you feel is broken. Just as God cares about every sparrow, He cares much more for you and everything that happens in your life. With God, nothing is wasted. Even the hard parts are shaping a purpose greater than you can see right now.
Prayer
God, thank you for loving me, especially when it’s hard for me to see my own value. When I feel unworthy or unseen, remind me that You care about every part of my life — even the broken pieces. Thank you for loving me through it all. Help me trust that You’re using every part of my story for something good. Amen.
