Practising Obedience

DAY 5 OF 5

The Reward of Obedience

In the Kingdom, partial obedience is disobedience. God honours those who yield fully.

When God loves you, He gives you Himself. When He pities you, He gives you gifts. The ultimate reward of obedience is not what God gives; it's who He becomes to you.

You may lose comfort, opportunities, or approval, but obedience secures His presence. And when you have His presence, you have everything.

Today, make a fresh decision to say “yes” again. Say yes even when it costs you. Say 'yes' when you don't understand. Because obedience will cost you something, but it will never cost you God’s faithfulness.

Reflection Questions

  • How has obedience drawn you closer to God in past seasons?
  • What area of your life do you need to surrender fully today?

About this Plan

Practising Obedience

Obedience to God is not always convenient, but it is always worth it. Many times, God calls us to take steps that stretch our faith, challenge our comfort, or even cost us something dear. Yet, every act of obedience opens the door to His reward, His presence, and His purpose for our lives. In this 5-day plan, you’ll learn what it truly means to choose obedience over convenience. You will see how God leads through instructions rather than explanations, and why obedience often requires trust more than understanding. Prepare to be encouraged and challenged.
