Praying for the Global Work of Bible Translation

DAY 7 OF 7

So equip us by Your breath to provide every heart language with Your Word. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)

Throughout history, chosen generations witnessed God move in monumental ways. One saw Moses part the Red Sea. One cheered as the walls of Jericho fell. One sat at the feet of Jesus and saw the empty tomb.

Today, you are part of a chosen generation—one that will see all people have access to God’s Word!

The finish line is in sight.

We have the roadmap, process, and tools to realize this vision by 2033.

Imagine what we'll witness as people, communities, and nations worldwide encounter Scripture's transformational power in their heart language—the indescribable, incomparable power of the Word, equipping us to carry out God’s perfect will:

“...and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:15-17

It's happening, and your prayers fuel this essential work!

As we conclude this week of Scripture reflection and prayer, be mindful of the privilege of living at this moment in history. Remember Mordecai's words to Esther: “And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Continue praying for Scripture translation as we move toward an unprecedented goal: God's Word accessible to all people by 2033!

Father, You are doing great things! Thank You for placing us here, at this point in history. We commit to continue in prayer for Scripture translation, for those who have yet to hear the Good News, and for translators and organizations united under one purpose: bringing the Gospel to those who are waiting. In Jesus' name, amen.
