Praying for the Global Work of Bible Translationনমুনা

So I now pray for all people that do not yet know You. (1 Timothy 2:1–6)
Ayesha*, a Muslim in Nigeria, has long been curious about the Christian faith. When she heard the Bible was being translated into her native Fulfulde Gombe dialect, she was thrilled.
"When the Fulfulde Bible translation is completed, it will look like a veil has been lifted from my eyes," she exclaimed. "And I can see the truth of God's love and redemption clearly."
Many like Ayesha are discovering Jesus for the first time. But countless others still wait, trapped behind a veil, longing for light. They may be hidden from the eyes of the world, but God sees—and He has not forgotten them.
God’s heart has always been for all nations, as we see in 1 Timothy:
“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For, there is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time.” —1 Timothy, 2:1-6
Jesus gave his life for all people, everywhere. And when He gave the Great Commission, He painted a global picture: "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Every tongue, tribe, and nation matters to Him.
Today, pray for those like Ayesha discovering Jesus, and for countless others still waiting for the Good News. God's promises never return empty. The whole world will be reached.
Father, we pray for those who haven't heard the Good News. We trust Your plan, knowing You see every heart and love Your people beyond our imagination. Bring the Gospel to all who are waiting, and break our hearts for what breaks Yours. In Jesus' name, amen.
