2Lord, listen to my voice;
let your ears be attentive

3 Lord, if you kept an account of iniquities,
Lord, who could stand? # 130:3 Ps 76:7; Mal 3:2; Rv 6:17
4But with you there is forgiveness,

5I wait for the Lord; I wait

6I wait for the Lord
more than watchmen for the morning —
more than watchmen for the morning. # 130:6 Ps 63:6; 119:147
7Israel, put your hope in the Lord. # 130:7 Ps 131:3
For there is faithful love with the Lord,
and with him is redemption in abundance. # 130:7 Ps 111:9
8And he will redeem Israel
from all its iniquities. # 130:8 Lk 1:68; Ti 2:14
