One of the sweetest, most tender, and encouraging portions of the entire Bible is Proverbs chapter 1 through chapter 7. We have a picture of a father pouring down wisdom on his son. I think of it as a father sitting on a couch next to his son with his arm around him, saying, "Son, there are things I want you to know because I love you."
